Training days are an informal, relaxed way to practise jumping a full course with some fill, without the pressure of competition.
Suitable for those just starting out and the more experienced show jumpers.
Training days are a great way to accustom young horses to a ring environment.
Natalie Hibbert will be on course to offer assistance if required.
Plaiting is not required.

Riding Attire:
Neat and comfortable riding attire in good condition is suitable for training days. Jackets are not required.
Approved riding boots and tagged helmet are compulsory.

Heights:
45cm, 65cm, 80cm, 90cm, 100cm
A maximum of 3 classes at 2 consecutive heights can be entered per horse and rider combination.

All riders must be a financial member of either GEA or EWA (Adult Riding/Participant/Competition membership). Otherwise ‘GEA competition membership’ is available to non-GEA/ EWA members (see point 2 below - please read carefully)

All riders UNDER 18 YEARS must be a member of EWA to compete. (GEA Competition Membership is NOT available).

GEA Competition membership is available to riders 18 years or over (as per the GEA constitution) who are not GEA or EWA Members. You will need to complete the GEA Competition membership form (and pay the $15 fee) and MUST include a signed waiver with your entry.

A maximum of 3 classes at 2 consecutive heights can be entered per horse and rider combination.
Stables will be available. Please clean your stable after use or they will not be made available for free in the future. Please pick up your horse’s manure from stables and in the car park and drop at manure pit near stables or bring a bag and take it home.
Stallions experienced at coping in group environments are welcome however you MUST apply to the organisers prior to submitting your entry and EA stallion guidelines must be adhered to.

OPEN EVENTS / TRAINING DAYS Cancellation Policy:
If a participant cancels prior to the closing date, a refund will be issued.
If a participant wishes to cancel after the closing date, a 50% refund will be given upon presentation of a vet/doctor’s certificate. The vet/doctor’s certificate must be presented within 7 days of cancellation or it will not be accepted.
If withdrawing from the rally after the closing date due to COVID, we require a government health department acknowledgment of a positive test to enable a refund. Required isolation period must overlap rally date.
